I rather like Nashville Mayor Karl Dean. He’s the least politiciany politician I think I’ve met. Except for Mary Mancini. Actually, most politicians seem like normal people when you meet them in person. Except John Edwards. That guy just oozed sliminess.
I imagine being the Mayor of America’s 25th largest city is a 24/7 job… so here’s the mayor on a sunny spring Sunday afternoon, casually dressed for a change, pulling the chord on the railroad whistle to announce the opening of the Farmers Market.
